There are music and opera events, particularly spectacular in the Roman amphitheatre in Orange. The papal town of Avignon is a UNESCO world heritage site. Sporting activities include canoeing, cycling, flying, golf, horse riding, quad biking, tennis, and walking. All this against a colourful backdrop of sunflower and lavender fields of Provence, France.
