Le Guinchete is a private estate, run and cared-for by its attentive owners who live at the entrance to the grounds. The extensive grounds include beautifully maintained gardens, with lots of shrubs and flowers, at the heart of which is the large shared pool and also surrounding fields, olive groves and vineyards. The estate offers just three apartments, one of which is a separate house La Casina, which stands alone close to the estate entrance and just 50 ms walk through the garden to the pool. This “little house” has its own terrace overlooking the gardens, with shade offered by a gazebo and has been decorated and furnished in traditional Tuscan style.

Le Guinchete is on the outskirts of the village of Cavriglia, which is situated at the foothills of the eastern Chianti hills, overlooking the Arno River valley and which styles itself as the gateway to Chianti. This location offers easy access to the motorway and local railway stations for easy touring of Florence and Arezzo (within 35 mins drive), as well as the well-known towns of the surrounding countryside and wine regions, such as Greve. Cavriglia itself is just over 1 km away and offers a selection of shops and restaurants.
