Brits taking a villa holidays in Gran Canaria in March will have the opportunity to learn more about the island's rich cultural can attend the Las Palmas International Film Festival.
Taking place from March 6th to March 14th, the festival will see filmmakers from across the globe showcase their feature-length movies and shorts.
According to WhatsonWhen, the festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
"The comprehensive programme crosses both national and international boundaries. Numerous awards are presented at the Las Palmas International Film Festival, the most important of which is the Golden Lady Harimaguada," the website noted.
One of the highlights of this year's programme of events is a Freak Night, which presents a host of weird and wonderful cult films.
As well as attending the film festival, holidaymakers can also enjoy the sights of Las Palmas, include the Casa de Colon and the Canaria Museum.
