Dodecanese Islands Villa Holidays
Located in the southeast of the Aegean Sea, this group of islands are much closer to Turkey than to mainland Greece. Dominated by the island of Rhodes to the south, this archipelago is rich in archaeological sites, has breathtaking landscapes and a mixture of developed resorts and traditional island life.
The Dodecanese Islands are popular with tourists, particularly the larger islands of Rhodes and Kos. The Dodecanese Islands are a great destination for villa holidays, attracting families, groups and older holiday makers.
The islands have all the great qualities for a villa holiday. Golden sandy beaches, bright blue seas, a great climate and picturesque traditional white washed villages.
Holiday Villas on the Dodecanese Islands
We offer a wide range of holiday villas in the Dodecanese Islands, many of which have private pools. We also have a great selection of holiday apartments with shared pools. Our holiday villas are located on the four islands of Kos, Rhodes, Patmos and Symi.
Dodecanese Island Holidays in Rhodes
The large island of Rhodes offers something for everyone, from bustling resorts with lively nightlife to tranquil mountain villages. The excellent road network opens up the entire island for easy exploration. Rhodes has a rugged, lush interior with fantastic uninterrupted sandy beaches on the east coast. The old town of Rhodes is truly a wonder and is the largest inhabited medieval town in Europe and World-Heritage listed.
Dodecanese Island Holidays in Kos
The most fertile island of the group, Kos lies just 5km from the Turkish peninsula of Bodrum. Rich in archaeology and endowed with beaches and tourist resorts second only to Rhodes, there is something here for all tastes. Explore the historic streets and ancient temples of old Kos Town, or for those who prefer to relax on their villa holiday, the lure of the beaches, bars and the warm clear waters of the Mediterranean are there in abundance.
Dodecanese Island Holidays in Patmos
Similar to the other Dodecanese Islands, Patmos is an attractive island, with numerous coves and picturesque white washed villages. Patmos is home to the sacred cavern of Apolcalypse where it is thought Saint John was inspired to write the book of revelations. Therefore Patmos has a strong religious history and is a popular tourist destination.
Dodecanese Island Holidays in Symi
The island of Symi is sparsely populated but is a popular destination with walkers and artists who love to explore the rugged landscape and neo-classical architecture. Pine and cypress woods grow thick on Symi which is marked with coves, valleys and pebble beaches. A real highlight is Symi town, a treasure trove of colourful buildings that spill down to the harbour.
